Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout with nuts and coconut • 14.2% ABV • A river of coconut flakes through an inky underworld, guarded by a three-headed sentinel of walnuts, almonds, and pistachios. This Bourbon Barrel-Aged Stout collaboration with Mortalis Brewing demonstrates the pioneering technique of roasting certain finishing additives on-site. We roasted almonds, pistachios, walnuts, and coconut and immediately applied them to this decadent stout base, capturing all the rich, delicious nut and coconut oils in the final liquid.
