Bottle Logic Fundamental Observation 2020 Stout - 50 CL

This "liquid brownie batter" was aged in a combination of bourbon barrels, finishing at a mighty 14.17% ABV. Multiple additions of Madagascar vanilla beans were introduced to each barrel, allowing the finished batch of beer to condition with hundreds of pounds over the course of a year. This year's Madagascar vanilla harvest includes the rich caramel tones of the coveted corner-piece brownie. Look for a subtle top-note of berry compote, and enjoy the familiar flavors of a generous scoop of melting vanilla ice cream. More than ever, this beer is the show-stopping companion to an incredible dessert. Fundamental Observation was initially honored as BeerAdvocate's Best New Beer of 2015. It boasts two entries in Untappd's Top 50 Rated Beers for the 2016 and 2017 vintages and won gold in the Specialty Strong/Porter Stout category of the Festival of Wood & Barrel-Aged Beers before taking home FOBAB 2018's Best In Show.
