Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout with violets, blackcurrant, and Tahitian vanilla • 14.55% ABV • Currant War is a boutique collaboration with Homage Brewing, inspired by the delicate flavors of French macarons. Floral aromatics of Tahitian vanilla tease the senses before the tart brightness of blackcurrant, quickly tempered by the savory roundness of vanilla beans in the mid-palate. Currant War was brewed with violet flowers steeped into the boil for a lingering finish of soft earth and early summer sweetness. Medium-bodied and elegant with a present but pleasant warmth thanks to a 14.55% alcohol content.
