Lucky Four seasons 2018 Lambic/Geuze - 75 CL

Lambic-based beer with elderflower, cherries 2018 & 2019 & raspberries. Our first barrel-aged kriek (2018) is blended with a 2019 kriek that has been aged in barrels for one year. This cherry lambic blend was then macerated with autumn raspberries. Just before bottling, the brewers added 10% elderflower lambic. This also gave the blend a floral touch. This is in addition to the fruitiness and light tannins (seeds and barrel aging) of the cherry & the fruitiness of the raspberries. These, in collaboration with the old lambic, also provide the acidity. For the name of this beer, the brewers refer to the 4 seasons, not the hotel chain? Lambic is brewed in winter, elderflowers appear on the trees in spring, cherries are at their best in the summer months, and in the last season, the brewers have autumn raspberries, which, unlike summer raspberries, are annual plants.
