Bissell Brothers DIPA - 44 CL

We couldn't invite the Bissel Brothers to Leeds and not brew a big IPA. The grist consists of 15% wheat and oats, enough to smooth the mouthfeel without being too harsh on the higher ABV. As for the hops, the brewers had recently cooled Nelson Sauvin near the 3-year-old Northern Monk—this was our chance to use them. Supported by smaller amounts of Galaxy and Citra, expect big flavors of gooseberry and passionfruit with underlying peach and mango notes.
