Baghaven Bagsæson Blend 1 Lambic/Geuze - 75 CL

Our most traditional take on a classic Belgian farmhouse-style ale, with a rustic Danish shipyard beer.⁠⁠ Bagsæson, a relative of our Havnesæson, starts as a very traditional "saison"-style base and is then open fermented in our wooden conical vats with our unique and ever-evolving local microflora to bring that true rustic Danish shipyard beer character. Matured in European oak foeders that have only ever held our beer and no previous wine/spirit, to bring a light and soft oak quality balanced by a blend of old and new world hops. Low acidity and high drinkability was the goal for Bagsæson, just like the spicy farmhouse ales of Belgium it is modeled after.⁠ Matured for 10 months.
