3 Fonteinen Strenge Winter (Season 19/20) Blend 53 2020 Lambic/Geuze - 75 CL

Bottling date: 27/02/2020 Strenge Winter - serially known under slightly differentiated names - is a special brew and blend. On January 19th, 2018, the brewers brewed a full barley beer with white pilsner, amber and Munich malts (but no raw wheat). During the coolship spread, the brewers added brown candi sugar. We then aged this beer for two years in oak barrels and small foudres at AAGE. Prior to bottling, the brewers blended the beer with some young 3 Fonteinen lambic and added brown candi sugar again. This beer is bottled for the original recipients of Armand! (but #NOTLAMBIC) NL Strenge Winter is an assemblage of full-malt beers brewed by 3 Fonteinen and candi sugar. Spontaneously fermented. Aged in oak barrels. Long conservation in the bottle. Unfiltered. Unpasteurized. Fr strenge winter est un assemblage de bières de malt complètes brassées par 3 Fonteinen, et de sucre candi.
