3 Fonteinen Twist of Fate XVI.v 2021 Lambic/Geuze - 75 CL

Blend n°23 • Bottling date: 28/01/21 • Bottle count: 1306 This Twist of Fate features an intense version of Schaarbeekse Kriek. In the summer of 2020, the brewers had a good yield from the harvest with more than 70 local families. We split the maceration across several larger and smaller barrels and tanks. This maceration is the same as the 22nd blend, but the brewers only added a small part of the young lambik prior to bottling. This way, the final fruit intensity clocks in at 545 grams of Schaarbeekse sour cherries per liter instead of the usual 300-400 grams/liter. 100% 3 Fonteinen brewed lambik. Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen "Spelen van het lot" (Twist of Fate) is a series of small batch experimental brews, barrel maturations, fruit macerations and blends.
