Blend n° 23 • Bottling date: 28/01/21 • Bottle count: 1306 This spelling of fate has an intense version of Schaarbeekse Kriek. In the summer of 2020, the brewers had a good yield of the harvest with more than 70 local families. We split the maceration over several larger and smaller barrels and tanks. This maceration is the same as the 22nd blend, but the brewers have only added a small part of the young lambic before bottling. In this way, the final fruit intensity clocks in at 545 grams of Schaerbeek sour cherries per liter instead of the usual 300-400 grams/liter. 100% 3 Fonteinen brewed Lambic. Brewery 3 Fonteinen "Twist of Fate" is a series of small batch experimental brews, barrel maturations, fruit macerations and blends.
