3 Fonteinen Twist of Fate X.XI 2021 Lambic/Geuze - 75 CL

Blend N° 14 • Bottling date: 11/01/2021 • Bottle count: 736 For this grape, the brewers used the Morio Muscat variety, which is a cross between Silvaner and Pinot Blanc (or perhaps Muscat Blanc à Petit Grains, but this remains to be proven). Originally from the Paltische region of Germany, the popularity of this variety peaked in the 1990s. Wijndomein Hoenhof was kind enough to harvest some of it for us. We deshexed the grapes in-house and the brewers put the must on a soft young lambic for almost four months before the brewers blend and bottle. The final fruit intensity is 392 grams of grape must per liter of grape. A third of the lambic used was brewed with our own grains from and around the Pajottenland. 100% 3 Fonteinen brewed Lambic. Brewery 3 Fonteinen "Twist of Fate" is a series of small batch experimental brews, barrel maturations, fruit macerations and blends.
