Instead of releasing them after a minimum of six months of bottle conditioning, the vintage series are aged in the cellar for a minimum of three years, up to five years or more, before being released to the market. For an Oude Geuze to become a Vintage, it must possess unique, sometimes surprising, or pronounced characteristics.
