bottling date: 26/07/2022 For this Oude Geuze, the brewers selected lambics from four ex-sherry casks – three Oloroso and one Palo Cortado – with heavily peated characteristics, and blended them with a softer lambic to balance the whole. The brewers then used lambics from five different brews and six different barrels, comprising young, a good amount of three-year-old, and four-year-old lambics. In this way, the weighted average age is more than 35 months.
