bottle date: 26/07/2022 For this Oude Geuze, the brewers selected lambics from four ex-sherry casks - three Oloroso and one Palo Cortado - with strong peat characteristics, and blended them with a softer lambic to balance it all out. The brewers then used lambics from five different brews and six different casks, divided between young, quite a few three-year-old and four-year-old lambics. In this way, the weighted average age is over 35 months.
