This specific Cuvée Armand & Gaston is blended with lambics from 7 different barrels and originating from 13 brews. This blend contains 48% matured and old lambics from 8 different brews. 3 Fonteinen Oude Geuze Cuvée Armand & Gaston is a blend of one-, two- and three-year-old traditional lambics, all brewed at Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen. Spontaneous fermentation, patient maturation in oak barrels and continuous evolution in the bottle result in a remarkably complex beer. No two bottlings are the same, as there are multiple variables in the blending process, a variety of barrel sizes and shapes, differences in matured lambic ratios, etc. This cuvée, like all our lambics, is 100% natural, authentic, spontaneously fermented and crafted with steadfast adherence to tradition, as Armand and Gaston Debelder have always done. This gueuze is bottle-fermented and will continue to develop its flavours and aromas over its long life when properly stored.
