3 Fonteinen Golden Blend (Season 19/20) 2020 Lambic/Gueuze - 75 CL

Bottling date: 13/02/2020 "He who knows everything has yet to be born," as Armand would say. From time to time, the brewers are still surprised by some results after blending lambics. Like this Gouden Doesjel. Although it was meant to be a Golden Blend, and despite using very powerful young lambics, the bottle fermentation did not happen. And it remained flat. This blend is made with lambics from three barrels, originating from three brews from three different brewers (50% of which is 3 Fonteinen brewed lambic). A fine, soft sipper. NL 3 Fonteinen Golden Doesjel is an assembly of lambics aged one to (at least 25%) four years old. Spontaneous, but unfortunately no longer refermenting in the bottle. Matured in oak barrels. Long shelf life in the bottle. Unfiltered. Unpasteurised. FR 3 Fonteinen Gouden Doesjel is a collection of lambics aged one to (at least 25%) four years old. Spontaneously fermented, but unfortunately no longer bottled. Aged in oak beams. Long shelf life in the bottle. Unfiltered. Unpasteurised. NL 3 Fonteinen Golden Doesjel is a blend of lambics aged one to at least 25% four years old. Spontaneously fermented but unfortunately no longer in the bottle. Matured in oak barrels. Extended bottle aging. Unfiltered. Unpasteurised.
