This beer is all about the malts. Invented in Austria and Germany (Märzen) with some (friendly) espionage on their British counterparts to obtain the new kilning technique that gave birth to Pale Ale, these malts show some toffee-like and bready flavours, with the Vienna being slightly hoppier. Enjoy this almost forgotten classic beer style.
