If you could forge your own power bar, what would you add? We asked our family and they said: something sweet, something salty, something thick. So the brewers took their wishes to our anvil and created this recipe. A robust 13% pastry stout, a blend of cashews, raisins, a touch of chocolate and dates, held together by the richness of gooey peanut butter. How do you translate this into beer? We start with a complicated malt bill to create a full body that can hold so many fresh additions. A Belgian yeast that enhances the character of red fruit and is reminiscent of a stout-inspired quadruple. Then coffee beans with notes of red fruit and kilos of fresh dates, cashew nuts and peanuts. Finally in the process, the brewers added three different types of raisins to keep their flavor intact. So here the brewers have it. A fairly light-colored stout, with many layers of flavor to discover. This power bar ensures that you can continue for a little longer. Cheers!
