Batch 38 consists exclusively of barriques used to mature white wine. A blend of barrels was made in which the La Trappe Quadrupel matured for one, two or three years. The white wine barrels used come from the “Gaillac” carton in the south of France. The "Loin de l'oeil" and the "Muscadel" are characteristic grape varieties grown in this region. The wine made from these grapes is known for their low acidity and fruity flavors. The batch was mixed in February 2020.
