Jackie O's Brewery Champion Ground Stout - 37.5 CL

Around the brewery, the brewers listen to a lot of reggae, the brewers drink quite a bit of coffee and the brewers are committed to our barrel aging program. In 2015, the brewers had a one-off imperial stout maturation in barrels for almost a year. These barrels had a rich chocolate-vanilla character, but needed a boost. Stauf's Coffee Roasters, out of Columbus, Ohio, has nailed the perfect roast of authentic Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee, to complement the barrel-aged stout. Champion Ground was born! The illustration on the label is of Charlie Ace's Swing-a-ling mobile record shack which was infamous for broadcasting the "Champion Sound!" Our version does this with fresh soil and a good atmosphere everywhere!
