This Bronchorster Barrel-Aged special edition No.5 is a Belgian style Tripel which has matured for 5 months in Cognac barrels. The maturation in the barrels gives this powerful beer of 11% a nice balance with complex flavors such as caramel, vanilla, cognac and herbs. The barrels in which this beer has matured for 5 months are brand new, which gives off extra flavor.
