bottling date: 17/06/21 This iteration of Zenne y Frontera is a blend of Amontillado, Oloroso and Palo Cortado. For this Zenne y Frontera, the brewers blended lambics from seven different sherry casks; three Amontillado barrels, two Oloroso barrels and two Palo Cortado barrels. The barrels came from two different bodegas: Josefa Pérez Rosado (closed) and Fernández-Gao (restarted in 2014). The weighted average age of this lambic is 28 months at the time of bottling. Three quarters of the five different lambics used were brewed by us, and about half of the grains in these brews were from Pajot cultivation. We have not mixed young lambic. NL Zenne y Frontera is an assembly of traditional lambics that is further matured in old authentic sherry barrels. FR Zenne and Frontera are a blend of traditional lambic that contains much of the authentic sherry. NL Zenne y Frontera is a blend of traditional lambic that matured in old authentic sherry barrels.
