100 Watt Too Wild to be Mild Dubbel - 33 CL

We got together with our friends from Chain House Brewing Co to celebrate the simple things in life. Simpler things like a Mild Ale. A great British brew at 3-3.5% that is both approachable and complex, allowing the hops to take a bit of a back seat to let the malt shine. But being the rebellious bunch that the Brewers are, the Brewers wanted to step it up a bit. And our intention was actually to create an IMPERIAL MILD ALE. With an ABV of no less than 7.2%, this beer becomes a beast of a different nature. By adding the hearty notes of caramel, accompanied by hints of coffee, raisins and roasted nuts, you could say this beer has become a bit too wild to be mild. And to everyone who says that, we answer: “Maybe you're right, but so what?”.
